Three juice products made by the Coca-Cola company are being recalled because they may contain foreign matter. Though grocers have already worked to pull the impacted items from store shelves, these beverages may still be lurking inside your home because they have a long shelf life.
The 59-oz. Minute Maid Berry Punch, Fruit Punch, and Strawberry Lemonade products involved in the recall may specifically contain bolts or washers, according to Food Safety News. They were distributed in eight states: Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
A Coca-Cola spokesperson confirmed to Eat This, Not That! that the voluntary recall had been "completed" at affected retailers.

"This product did not meet our high-quality standards due to the potential presence of foreign matter," the spokesperson said. "We took this voluntary action because nothing is more important to us than providing safe, high-quality products to the people who drink our beverages."
The recall is classified as a Class II, which the U.S. Food and Drug Administration defines as "a situation in which use of or exposure to a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote."
